Cancer Research Race for Life June 2005
Cancer Research Race for Life June 2005
Town Fields Doncaster

On the 26th June 2005, 32 ladies from Beresfords participated in the Cancer Research Race for Life which took place on Town Fields in Doncaster. Race for Life is a 5k women only race which takes place at venues across the country in order to raise money for Cancer Research.  There were just over 2000 entrants in the Doncaster Race.

It was a glorious day and after weeks of training all the girls in Team Beresfords were pleased to finish the race and collect their medals!  Despite a few sore feet and aching legs some of the girls still made it to the pub around the corner for a well earned glass of something cold and fizzy afterwards!

Whilst the exact figure raised by Team Beresfords is not yet known the team are delighted that through the support of friends and colleagues the figure is in the thousands.

An enjoyable Sunday morning for a very worthy cause!
